A Night Out

My friends from high school and I went to Olive Garden tonight. It was soooo sooo sooo great to see them! We haven't all been together for over a year. Em and Andrea are pregnant. It was so funny because usually it's me and Meg that are the ones that are pregnant! We had great conversation and a lot of fun catching up. It is awesome that we are still in contact and all still like eachother! Love you guys!

Pumpkin Carving

My pumpkin is a vampire. I wrote "I'm Edward" on it. Because this is what I think Edward from Twilight looks like!

Shawn's is just plain wierd.

And Kyle's is a bat.

We carved pumpkins last night (actually Ty did all the carving). We let the kids draw what face they wanted on their pumpkins. So that is why there is tons of black marker all over their pumpkins. I drew faces on Nick and Cody's pumpkins.

Sleep? What Sleep?

So, remember when I would say that Cody is such a good sleeper? He used to sleep all the time and fall asleep on his own. Well, not anymore! For the past month or so he has been waking atleast 7 times a night. I would go in his room, pop the binky back in his mouth and he would turn over and go back to sleep. Last night has been the worse! Before it was even 1am I had gotten out of bed 7 times. After that he woke up atleast once every hour, sometimes twice. I am so sleep deprived that I can't function. I feel so bad for Kyle because I usually just lay on the couch and sleep while Nick and Cody take a nap. So Kyle just watches tv or plays XBox. I'm horrible, I know. But I seriously can't function. The house is a total mess and I can't think straight. The doctor says that we should wait until 6 months for him to "cry it out." He's almost 5 months now. So one more month. I always said the first 6 months is the hardest. This is truly testing me and my patience!

My Babies

Nick had a 104* fever right after church last week. It lasted for a couple days then he broke out in spots everywhere. We didn't take him to the doctors (he's our third kid) but I looked it up online and we think he had Roseola or something. He's doing better now.
Look how sweet they both are! Nick really loves Cody. He gives him loves and makes him laugh.

Cody rolled over for the first time a couple nights ago. I didn' witness it but I went in to calm him to sleep and he was on his tummy! Yay! He is really a good baby. He smiles all the time and it just melts my heart. When I start to sing, he gets this big grin on his face. I love him so much! Dven though it has been such a hard several months, when he smiles it makes all that go away! ANd then he starts to cry and all the bad memories come back!!!

He likes to suck on his fingers. I can picture him saying, "One Million Dollars!" as in Dr. Evil from Austin Powers.

Just like Daddy

Nick loves wearing Ty's hats. He does not go a minute without wearing one around the house.If we take it off he freaks out. If we try to get him to wear one his sixe he freaks out. He just loves wearing them! It is really cute.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch today (like everyone else who has a blog!). There were surprisingly a lot of great pumpkins! It was a good selection. We all had a great time.Ty hauling our pumpkins around

Zoo

We went to the zoo Saturday. It was the most perfect weather! We got a call from Ty's bro on our way up and he was going to the zoo to! So we met up there and went around together. It was Nick's first time seeing these animals and he really enjoyed it. Every new animal he saw he would point and smile and laugh his usual "Buh." It was very cute.

How to make a UTE fan mad

On our way up to the zoo, we figured out that there was a Ute football game. There were hundreds of dedicated fans all in the Utah Red walking to the stadium. We were stopped at a crosswalk right in front of the stadium when Ty rolled down his window and yelled, "Whoa! BYU Rocks! Go BYU!!!" The crowd of people looked over and we heard some guy go, "BYU??" and there were boos from the whole crowd and right before we drove away one guy yelled out, "IDIOT!" It was so hilarious! It was the funniest thing that has happened in a long time. I mean there were hundreds there! Oh, and on our way home from the zoo, there were all these cars that were parked on the street illegally, and gues what? They all got tickets! Ha! There were atleast 100 cars that got tickets! It was funny.

By the way, I am, in no way, implying that my husband or I are BYU fans or that we hate the Utes. In fact, we really could give a darn!

Rice Cereal, MMMMMMMMMM!

Cody had his first taste of "solid" food the other day. He didn't know what to think. He just gave this really wierd look on his face.
