Hi, Teresa!!!

Special Day

Today was an awesome/special day. It was Fast Sunday today. When it was time to bear testimonies Shawn said he wanted to. I didn't think he was really serious. But he proceeded to practice saying what he wanted to say. Then Kyle said he wanted to also. So after a bit of practice they both went up to the mic! They stood to the side while the person already there finished theirs. I started crying. To see my 2 older boys up there just made me so proud and happy. They were so big and handsome! Shawn said his. He said how if we read the scriptures, our prayers will get answered. And then he walked off. He didn't say Amen or anything! Then it was Kyles turn. This boy is usually shy and scared. He showed none of that. He said how he knew his family loved him. He said Amen. I was balling! Luckily I had tissues! Then I got that feeling. You know that feeling. I had to go up. So I went up. I expressed how I never thought the day would come where my boys would get up to share their testimony. And how grateful I am for the past few months as we have gotten closer to the Savior. And I continued with how prayers do get answered, you just have to keep faith that He is listening. When I sat back down Shawn handed me another tissue! It was a very precious moment. And you know what...Ty wasn'\t even there to see it! I feel bad! He was at home recovering from a recent surgery. When I went to Sunday School and RS, several people came up to me and siad they started to cry too as we all bore our testimonies. That made me so happy to know that there are others who are excited for us and supporting us on our journey.

Nick's 3rd Birthday

Nick had his birthday March 1st. We ate at McDonalds
and came home for cake and gifts! He was real excited about everything!

Every time you come onto this blog you hear music. It may bug you or you may enjoy it. Each song has a memory or means something to me. Let me go through a couple of them so maybe you will know me better or think of me when you hear the song on my blog.

"Don't touch me" by Brak - this is a funny song. You should listen to it if you haven't heard it yet. When I was growing up, I used to watch Space Ghost: Coast to Coast (a cartoon) and this crazy alien guy named Brak would sing funny songs. I loved him. He made me laugh so much!

"You Belong to Me" by Lifehouse - whenever Nick would cry in the car when he was a baby we would crank this song up and he would quiet down almost immediately. It was great during long road trips.

"Hey there Dalilah" by Plain White Tees - Ty liked this song even before it was popular. He sings it to me sometimes and I love it. I also have a Sister in law named Dalilah!

"Major Tom" by Peter Schiling - This is going back Ol' School! This was my favorite song when I was about 6 years old. I remember listening to it in my brothers car. I still like it.

Any Goo Goo Dolls song - I just love them, k. They are just the best. Have loved them since high school.

"Stronger" by Britney - I hate Britney. I really do. But I do a good impression of her and it's fun to be all cheezy and dance around like a fool.

"Closing Time" by Semisonic - This was popular when I was a Senior. I loved the music video and use to watch it all the time on MTV!

"Apologize" by One Republic - My boys love singing this song. They use to sing "It's too late to get a job!" I have no idea where they came up with that one.

"Forever" by Chris Brown - I loved this song on The Office copying the popular YouTube video of a wedding. I also love dancing the "robot" to it.
