More of Maggie
Everytime we brought home a new baby, Maggie would protest by peeing by the crib. But she grew to tolerate all teh yanks and pulls.Maggie Dog Parkin
Maggie has always been a stubborn dog. Looking for food all the time. The first thing she did everytime she got out of her room was run to the kitchen to see what human treat was there for her. Well, yesturday it got the best of her. She got a hold of an apple slice. I tried to get it out of her mouth but she growled and snapped at me. I finally got half of it but she still had the other half. I thought she'd be ok since she's eaten stuff like that before. Well, a few minutes later I saw her hobbling into her room heaving and gagging. She was choking in the apple. I panicked and tried to get it out. I took her over to our neighbors for help and I put her down on the sidewalk an dhe just fell over still gagging. They tried but she was gone. She died right in front of me. It is the most emotional thing I ahve gone through. I cried and screamed. My neighbor, Christy, comforted me and hugged me. She was with me until Ty got home. I explained to the boys what had happened and they were sad. Shawn told me he and his friends had said a little prayer for Maggie. I sobbed all night and couldn't sleep. It just kept replaying in my mind. I know she was a pet and we're blessed it wasn't on eof our kids but we had had her for over 6 1/2 years. She was really another member of the family. It just all happened so fast. It's scary. I miss her so much and love her so much. She was such a good dog. I'm going to post some pics of her along with some memories. Thank you to all those who have emailed with their thoughts and prayers. They have helped out alot. We will bury her in our backyard tonight. I wrote a little song for her. Maybe I'll post it another time.

Goodbye McCall
I don't want it to end! But it is time to head home. McCall is such a relaxing place. It was fun swimming with the boys and playing in the sand. We had tons of ice cream at Ice Cream Alley. We watched people fish and played in the stream. It was a great family reunion. It was a nice time getting to know Ty's cousins better. I had a lot of great deep conversations. Thank you! I will miss you all! Thanks Guy for the use of your boat and being so patient with Ty! And thank you so much to my inlaws. They watched and helped out with the kids so that I could find time to have fun. I appreciated it! Now it's back to reality, the daily grind. Ugh!

McCall, Idaho
Well, we made it up here! And we have internet! Yay! The boys (Shawn and Kyle) were really good during the car ride. That surprised us! Nick was a little fussy here and there. And Cody mostly slept. There are 17 adults and 10 kids under 6 (Shawn is the oldest) all under one roof. It's a little bit hectic! But hey, that's what family reunions are! We went on Ty's cousins in law boat last night. Both Shawn and Kyle went on the tube. I was so impressed! They were with Ty of course. And they would stand up and do no hands. I'm thinking if they're this adventurous at 6 and 4, what are they going to be like in 5 years! I just need to get use to that with 4 of them! Ty knee boarded and did better then expected. I didn't take my camera last night but I will next time and post some pics.

Life with 4 kids
Life's been hectic (what's new?!). We are leaving this Saturday to go to a family reunion up in McCall, Idaho. So I've been running around the house packing for 6 people. I'm trying not to pack too much but with a newborn and lots of kids, it's hard NOT to! Hopefully the reunion will be relaxing and not stressful!
I tried to go shopping by myself again yesturday. Again, it was not a fun experience. I went to Target and decided to get one of those huge oversized carts that have the 2 seats in front hooked onto the cart. I put Nick i one of the seats and Cody in the basket. Nick did not like it. Every time I would stop he would stand up adn try to get out. So he was crying the whole time. The boys were running around everywhere and Cody was crying by the time we left. Not to mention that the cart was so hard to push around. I kept running into things and knocking stuff over. Anyone at the store who saw me probably was happy they weren;t me!
I've been struggling with post partum depression. It has been so hard. I get so overwhelmed and I just sit in the bathroom and cry. I tell myself over and over again that I can't do this. And I think what did I get myself into?! It's hard when you have two boys who are bored and want to go out to a park and I know that we can't go, I wouldn;t be able to handle it. And then there's Nick who just wants to play with me but I can't because I need to be with Cody. And on top of all that I am so tired and exhausted. And then there's the laundry, dishes, making dinner, etc. I had a particularly bad day last week. I prayed so hard to find relief and get help. I called my sister and asked her if she could come take the boys to the park. She said she would in the afternoon (it was about 9am when I called). That seemed forever away! I prayed again for strength and comfort. My prayers were answered. About an hour later, I got a package from FedEx with the Cricut Deluxe that I ordered (it's a scrapbook thing). So that got me excited and gave me something to do. A few minutes later my sister called and said she could come over right then to take the boys out. Ah, relief! Then the next day, my mother in law, Kris, called and said she would come over and watch all the kids so I could go out by myself for a couple of hours. Ah, so nice! I was able to go grocery shopping and go to Ben Franklin. It was so so nice. So I know that prayers get answered. It is just so amazing to actually see how Heavenly Father lifts your burdens. It is still a struggle for me everyday but I am able to cope some how... most days!

Memory Lane
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.EVERYBODY PLAY! I want to see what memories are out there!

Night Bball
Ty had his first night basketball game last night. He was so excited to try out the lights. There were about 7 guys from the ward who showed up. They're probably going to play every Thursday night in the back since our court is bigger then the ward's court (pretty sad, huh!). So anyway, they started at 9pm and around 10:15 our neighbor came out and said they just got a call from an unknown person saying to keep the noise down or they would call the cops. So Ty decided it was time to stop playing. So everyone was going to their cars and Ty came inside and saw a cop on our drive way! So he went out and talked to him. The cop said they got a call about noise and to keep it down. The cop was real cool about it. He was saying how Ty could keep playing and it was really a waste of the cops time to come out. He said if he gets another call he'll just come out again and tell them to keep it down again. So we really didn't get in trouble.

My Hubby!
How long have we been married? 7 years in October
How long did we date? We dated for about 2 1/2 years
How old is he? 26
Who eats more? He does, but he really doesn't eat too much. Only on rare occasions does he scarf food down.
Who said I love you first? He did. We were watching South Park and he goes, "I love South Park. And you too. I love you." Not very romantic, I know.
Who is taller? He is by 10 inches!! And I love it!
Who sings better? I do, but when ever he sings, I love it. It doesn't happen very often.
Who sings better? I do, but when ever he sings, I love it. It doesn't happen very often.
Who is smarter? He is by far! He has taught me so much about finances and random stuff. If he is interested in something, he will research the heck out of it. Like recently he's into converting our Suburban to natural gas. So he's on the computer all day and then at night he tells me all about it. But sometimes he does ask me how to spell something!
Whose temper is worse? Mine is. I seriously don't know how he puts up with it. If it was reversed and he had a bad temper, I wouldn't know how to deal with it!
Who pays the bills? I do. If he tries, he just messes up the checking account!
Who does the laundry? I do. I don't mind doing it, it's just the folding and putting away (hint, hint)
Who cooks dinner? ummm, when we have a home cooked meal, I do. But he sometimes goes out and gets dinner. Does that count?!
Who drives when together? He does. He tries to get me to sometimes but I hate driving!
Who is more stubborn? I think he is. He tries to always be right and won't give up an argument without winning.
WHo is the first to admit when wrong? That's a hard one. We both talk it out if there's a disagreement and we both admit our faults.
Whose parents do you see more often? Probably mine, his are always out of town. We go have dinner with mine atleast once during the week and then again on Saturday.
Who has more friends? He does. All the ward knows him (some of the ladies thought he looked like a guy on the Bachelorette) and he just went out with a buddy the other day.
Who wears the pants? He does, I mainly wear pj bottoms and skirts!
Who eats more sweets? He does. He can not put down Reeses PB Mini Cups.
His guilty pleasures? Youtube and Break. He tells me he's soooo busy at work all day but then when he gets home he shows me all these videos he watched!
Who mows the lawn? He does and he loves it. He adores his riding lawn mower!
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does.
Who kissed who first? He asked if he could kiss me. I said yes. It was my first kiss!
Who proposed? I sort of did first. But then he later got down on one knee. Earlier that day, I was at the mall with my mom. We went to Morgans and looked at wraps for my solitair that I had. I picked one I liked and thought I 'd take Ty later to look at it. Well, when he proposed, he held out a ring and it was the same wrap that I loved! He was at a different mall about the same time I was looking at rings and he picked out the same ring! It was cool. We're meant to be!
What is my favorite thing about him? Gosh, I don't know. I like all of him! I like his hair and his rippling biceps. I love that he knows me so well. He knows my different looks I give him if he burps or toots! I love that we like the same things and agree on everything. We have the same points of view.

Ninja Warrior
We were flipping through the channels a couple of weeks ago and Ty cam across this show called "Ninja Warrior". It's this show from Japan where different people try to complete a difficult course. And those who pass that go on to another difficult course and so on. It is really funny and some of the contestants are just crazy strong! It's also a great way to learn Japanese! I added a youtube bar at the bottom with some bits of the show. Check it out. I think you'll like it!

Cody's Blessing
Cody was blessed today. He wore the same cute silk suit the other 3 boys wore. Cody was the first to be blessed in the new church. We had all the fam over after for some good eaten. Thanks to everyone who brought stuff (mom, KK, Kris, and Sarah!). I really appreciate it!
Shawn and Kyle wore matching suits and Nick wore the tux (check out the title pic at the top of the page). Everyone at church thought they were adorable!

Something so Sweet
A new baby is the sweetest thing ever on earth. They're so fresh from heaven and are a part of you. But they are a lot of hard work. Cody is a good baby but it's still hard to be in that "newborn phase." I can't go anywhere, I tried to go grocery shopping the other day but the cart was filled up with his carseat so I had no room for groceries. So it didn't turn out well. I keep reminding myself that I did this before, Shawn and Kyle are 16 months apart, Nick and Cody are 15 months apart. But it's harder with two older kids. I have to keep tabs on them while I chase Nick around because he some how got his hands on my phone while feeding Cody. I get so overwhelmed! It seems I never get any me time. I try to cherish every last moment with Cody since he'll be my last baby but at the same time you want him to get bigger so it gets easier! Someday it will be easier, he'll sleep through the night, he'll feed himself. And when those days come, I would have probably forgotten how hard life was for a bit.
Do I like this one???
I've been trying to figure out what background I like for this blog. I've changed it so much and probably will keep changing it! I like this one though because I have always liked sunflowers! And it's blue too which goes with boys! It erased my youtube videos I had on here, I'll have to have Ty put them up again because I have no idea how to!
