Overboard

Have you ever seen the movie "Overboard" with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel? Well, there's this one part in it where she is sitting on the couch in a daze just staring because she is just so overwhelmed and tired with her new life. And the kids are all sitting around throwing stuff at her. The dad comes home and asks what's going on and the kids say she's been like that for a while and every now nd then she goes "Bu, Bu, Bu, Bu..". Well, that was me yesturday! I sat on the couch after cleaning all day and found myself staring out the window. And Nick was walking around saying his usual "Bu, bu, bu.." This scene from the movie came to mind. I know how she felt. I thought it was funny.

It's Done!

Ty was able to sell the Honda Accord today. Yay!

Baby Update

I went to the doctor today and I am 1 1/2 cm dialated and at a +1 station, meaning that the babies head is like really really low, which means I can't walk very well, which means I'm in pain.

THE NAME!!!

Many have been curious as to what we will name the baby. Well, I'm gonna spill the beans because I want to find out how many people actually visit this blog and opinions on it. So it's going to be Kobe Bryant Parkin. Do you like it??? We just think Kobe Bryant is such a great role model and a great bball player so we wanted to honor him. What do you think? Leave a comment!

Ty's going Green!

Long story short: Ty invested in a truck to repair and resell for a profit. The truck never sold so he traded it in at the dealership for a Camry Hybrid. He loves it! Uh Oh!

He has put it up and also the Accord up for sale and which ever one doesn't sell, he'll keep.

I think he wants to keep the Hybrid, he just loves it.

Spagetti Nick

Nick loves food. Especially when he can eat it with his hands! He literally dived right into this bowl of spagetti.

He also likes to feed Maggie Dog. He'll take a bit if food and hold it down for her. We shake our head and say no. He then takes another bit of food and holds it down and then he looks at us. He then shakes his head no but then he throws it to her anyway.

Accident Prone Kyle

Last night after Shawn's baseball game the boys and Ty were racing back to the car. Kyle tripped and fell face first into the side walk. Ty said his hands didn't even stop his fall. So he got some pretty bad owies on his forehead, lips, and chin.

We felt bad but then I realized that this is probably nothing compared to what injuries we have to look forward to with 4 boys!

Baseball Shawn

Shawn started baseball last week. He's a Yankee!

His first time up to bat he hit the ball really well. He's a natural!

Accident

A few weeks ago there was a major accident on the road right behind our house. There were 2 bullet bikes and a cobra racing around the neighborhood going probably 80+ mph. They rounded a corner and one of the bikes drivers went to slow down but jammed his brakes and flipped over the handle bars and went flying into a park bench. They closed the road and there were tons of cops and fire trucks. Then all of the sudden life flight came right over our house and landed in the next street over. The boys were excited. The fire truck even honked and waved at them as they drove past. Unfortunatley, the biker didn't make it.

Pregnancy SUCKS!!!

The title says it all! I'm 35 weeks along out of 40. I guess I'm having the "nesting" thing, I'm getting the clothes all ready and folded, the diapers all arrainged cutsey, the bassinett ready, etc. But I'm not scrubbing the floors or baseboards or vacuuming every hour.... yet. I am just too wiped out. I do all this stuff and I know I'm worn out and need break but if I lay down, my mind is just racing with all this stuff I still have to do. It's very annoying. And I'm waddling too. Please don't make fun, Ty does that enough for everyone! I just ache everywhere and I would rather just lay down all day so that I don't have to waddle. But like that can happen! I'm also stressin about when the heck this baby is going to come! Shawn was 1 week early, Kyle was 2 weeks early, and Nick was 2 days late and induced. So the cards are up in the air. It's stressful because the week end before I'm due my parents and also my inlaws are going out of town. So there go our kid watchers and support! My life is just hectic right now! Luckily I have sweet VT's because they're bringing us dinner tonight to help out. Ah, how nice not to worry about one thing today! Anywho, just felt like ranting and whining and complaining.

Star Wars or Spiderman or Iron Man or Wolverine...

Shawn and Kyle love any type of action/super hero. They use to love Star Wars (as you can tell from the pics, taken in March). But one day, Dad turned on the Spiderman movie and ever since then they no longer love Star Wars but love Spiderman! It's confusing which hero is at the top of their list!
