Well EXCUuuUUSE ME!

Apparently I am a bad speller. Someone, who will remain anonymous, pointed out all of my many flaws in my blog posts. They even suggested that I have them preview the posts first before I publish them. 

Well...EXCUUUUUSE MEE!!! I'm sorry that I don't have time to correct my errors. I barely have enough time to blog, which I don't do enough! Ty says, oops, I mean, THEY say that I portray myself as an uneducated "dumb" person to those who read my blog. Just to clarify I am NOT uneducated nor am I dumb. ..Okay, maybe a little bit of a "Mom Brain" but come on, who doesn't get that way when you are around kids all day.

So I am sorry for all the errors there may be. I have taken the time to go back and fix many of them.

Please don't judge.

And hopefulley I wil be mor carful about my speling and grammer on thes blogg.

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend we headed up to Strawberry Reservoir to go Crawdad fishing. On the way there we stopped off in Heber to see the airplane show that was going on.

Shawn loved the planes with the guns.

We finally got to the Reservoir and we all had a fun time catching the creepy crawlers!

We caught A LOT!! Ty cooked some up but they were gross so he ended up chucking them in the garbage. We felt bad.

Halloween

We went to a ward Halloween party where the YW were doing face painting. The boys came back with "BOO" painted on their face except for Cody. We asked Cody what he told the girl he wanted and he said a bee, that flies and buzz's. Well, this is what the cute young young woman did:

She gave him a "B" alright!!! Literally!!!

Shawn and Kyle wanted to be gross scary guys. They had the same costume.

This is about 8 months too late but I want to post it anyway! One day I got a knock on the door. I thought it was some of the boys friends but I found this on the door mat. It's a container full of lip gloss, Easter eggs, and a book mark...all for Shawn! Obviously there are some girls in the neighborhood who are thinking of him!

Shawn turned 9 in April. He wanted a Halo cake so I just stuck Halo guys on a cake. He thought it was cool.

Family All Together!!

My brother, Mike, and his fam came down from Oregon to visit. I haven't seen him in 2 years! I was so excited to see him and his girls! They stayed with us at our house and it was nonstop fun! Their 4 girls are just about the same age as our 4 boys so they played really well! Here's Shawn thinking he's awesome with my brother's badge. Mike has awesome stories about his job. I'm not sure if I can tell you what he does. Lets just say that it's a "Secret"! Oh and he does "Service" for the President!!

I peaked in on Cody at bedtime and saw Britton (12) reading to him while he picked his nose!

We celebrated 4 bdays in Vegas. Rick, Dad, Britton, Emily all have a bday every other day (26th, 28th, 30th, 2nd) in Nov/Dec. Yummy cake!

Ty won a wizards hat and Cody loved to wear it and wiggle his fingers to do his wizard magic.

The highlight of the trip was kind of stalker-ish. I watch "Sister Wives" on TLC. It is about a polygamist family who recently moved from Utah to Las Vegas. My Granny LOVES that show. So I went online and googled Kody Brown and found where his house is. So we all went in a convoy (3 cars) and found his house. He just happened to be outside helping his son jump start a car. Ty and I got out and walked up to him and asked for a pic. He got kind of rude and said he doesn't accept fans at his house. Then Ty mentioned Granny and he said that he would drive around the corner and we could get pics there. So we all followed him and got out of the car. Granny was THRILLED! Her whole face lit up and she was very funny!

Kody was nice. He talked to us for a bit and even showed Granny a pic of his new baby boy.

After that, we went to a chocolate factory.

And we ate chocolate.

Shawn and Kyle have been very interested in the Titanic recently. We went to the Titanic exhibit at the Luxor. LOVED IT!! There was a room with a real piece of the ship. It was HUGE (18 tons)! When Shawn entered that room, his whole face was in aw and amazement! It was so cute. He thought it was so cool!

We put 2 chairs together for Cody's bed.

Drive home. Of course most of the kids fall asleep when we are about 10 mins from home!

It was a fun trip with all the family.

Vegas, Baby in Oct

My parents took us to Vegas in Oct. We love it there.

We saw the Tournament of Kings at Excalibur.

Oooh! Look at the Prince and his sexy long hair!

This guys coat stunk really bad. It smelled like it hadn't been washed in years. Ew.

And I put my face in it..Ew.

My dad takes the boys on long walks. One of their fav things to do is ride on the "train" that runs in between the hotels. Cody pretends he's driving it every time they ride.

The boys wanted pics with the halo guy but we didn't want to have to tip him. So we got about 30 feet away from him and took one. We are so sneaky!

We went to M&M world. We were waiting in line to go to the way high-tech 3D film and the boys found these slot machines. They loved them. Nick would win and yell and jump around. Just like Grandma!

We were able to score a cabana by the pool one day. So So SOOOO nice!

It was 85* and sunny at the end of Oct.

With he cabana came these cool floater thingies. It was fabric with sand in it. It was so comfy to lay on and relax. That is my new "happy Moment". When I'm stressed I just think of how relaxed I was while I was floating in Vegas.
