How do you deal with a devil child? Kyle is being a little butt head and we don't know what the heck to do. Whipping doesn't help, we've tried that. (JUST KIDDING, don't call CPS on us!) He's so rude to me, Ty, and he made Shawn cry yesterday because he was so mean. And don't even get me started on how he is with Nick. Ugh. He's sweet one minute then the next he's rude and then the next he's sweet and innocent. What is going on, Child?

A Day In My Life
I thought it would be interesting to write what I did in my day. So here is Weds, Oct 21.

7:00am Shawn and Kyle wake up. They come downstairs and turn on the tv. Kyle turns on the lights. Shawn then turns off the lights. Kyle then turns on the light and so on and they fight about whether to have the lights on or off.

7:05am From all their fighting, Nick wakes up. I force myself to get out of bed.
--
7:15am I go and get Cody. I find him with no diaper, poop on the floor, crib, bedsheets, him, and a big smile on his face. I take a deep breath and decide I need to give him a bath. I knew right then that today was going to be one of "those" days. I get Cody dressed and decode the poop can wait to be cleaned up.

7:30am Breakfast for the boys. Get the boys off to school and pray that Kyle won't come home ffrom the bus stop crying.
--
8:00am Do some laundry. I go clean up the poop in Cody's room. As I do that, Shawn hurries and runs in saying it's hat day at chool and he needs a hat. He gets one and in the mean time he tracks mud all over the floors. I stand in a gaze as he runs back out of the house but not before saying "Sorry bout the mud!" He slams the door and I go to the kitchen to get a wet rag and clean up all the mess. I finally have breakfast and I take a quick shower. I hurry and chop up chicken, potaotoes, and carrots and put them in the crock pot for dinner (we're having Chicken and Dumplings). I get Nick dressed and we're off to help Ty and work!

8:45am I arrive at work, put Cody in the cage, put Caillou on the computer, and get to work. I pull orders, box orders, restock the shelves, clean, etc. Busy Busy Busy!

11:05am Leave to go pick up Kyle.

11:20am Arrive home. I switch laundry over and start more laundry. I clean up a little. Kyle gets home.

11:50am We're off to work again but first we need to get lunch! We go to Cutlers and wait about 30 mins in the drive thru. Eat lunch and then back to work.

2:30pm I leave work.

2:45pm I get home. I put Cody down for a nap. Nick tells me he wants to go nigh night. So I take him eto his room and tuck him in. I lay down while Kyle plays XBox. He keeps asking me questions and I keep mumbling answers to him. I seriously fell asleep midsentence.

3:00pm I hear Nick crying and tell Kyle to "release the Nick". I hear Kyle open his door and go "Nicholas!" I say "Oh crap!" Kyle yells to me telling me that Nick has taken his diaper off and smeared poop everywhere on his dressers. Great. I clean Nick up and put a diaper on him. I am way too tired to clean up the the poop right then so I ley back down nd watch something with Nick.

3:35pm Shawn gets home. We watch Arthur so that I can lay down.
--
4:00pm I force myself to get up. I hurry and make some dumpling mix to put on top of the chicken stuff in the crock pot. I spread it in the crock pot and realize I accidently put only a cup of Bisquick when you're suppose to add 2 cups. Opps! I hurry and mix some more mix into it hoping it will turn out.

4:10pm Wake up Cody in order to go to Sams Club. (I hate waking up sleeping kids.)

4:20pm Arrive at Sams. Boys get chicken nugget sample. Cody shoves the whole thing in his mouth. I have to fish it out so he won't choke. I actually only get the things that were on my list. I'm checking out and Kyle says Shawn is hitting him. I look back and now Kyle is hitting Shawn and Nick is hitting Kyle. I just turn away and ignore it. The checker guy laughs and says "Four boys, that's gotta keep ya going." I say "Or it'll kill me!" He continues to laugh at the boys which are now doing karate moves on each other.

5:00pm Get home and Ty is already home. We eat dinner. The dumplings turned out great. The boys don't eat it at all but atleast Ty likes it.

5:30pm Ty leaves to go back to work. I clean up all the dishes and wash up. Shawn eats a powdered donut and gives some to Nick which he then gets powder and red jelly all over the floor. So, I clean the floors, again with a towel.
--
5:45pm I stick Cody in his crib with a bottle so that I can give Nick a bath with out him freaking out. I hear the bath already running as I am putting him down. I go into the bathroom and find that Nick has turned the bath on and gotten in with his clothes still on. So I deal with that and give him a bath.

6:00pm I get Nick out and get him dressed. I duct tape his diaper and put a onsie on him so that he won't take the diaper off. He lays down with Shawn and watched tv while I finish cleaning.

6:15pm I tell the boys to go take a shower because it's picture day tomorrow. I carry Nick to his room and lay him in bed. (that NEVER happens! He usually screams and cries and kicks while I carry him But I guess he's really tired!) I read him a book and close the door. Then I hear Cody awake so I go and get him out. He walks around while I continue cleaning.

6:30pm I get the laundry and fold it. Cody starts to get whiney so I put him down. I continue to fold and put away laundry.

6:35pm I tell the boys to get out of the shower.

6:45pm I tell the boys to get out of the shower. They finally do.

6:48pm Ty gets home. The boys hold up shirts from upstairs to see if I approve them for picture day. I don't approve any.

7:00pm I get to sit and write about today.

7:12pm Ty points out all the spelling errors I have made in this post and others. (Sorry for all my misspellings of "yesterday" I have done.)

7:13pm Ty pours some milk and gets us our marshmallow brownie cookies to eat. I will now take a break to enjoy this time.

8:00pm The boys go to bed.

9:45pm I go up to the boys room and, in the dark, pick out what shirts they'll wear for their picture the next day.

The rest of the night is a blur. But we got to bed around 10:30pm.

Interesting Place
We live in a very interesting place here. The other day I was outside with the kids and I saw this old orange VW van driving down the street with a pirate flag (skull and cross bones) that was raised on the back of it. I laughed so hard. And I just saw it again yesturday as I was getting the mail. I wanted to take a pic of it but it went by too fast.
Then, the other night I ws driving home late and I passed a soccer field. I saw something glowing and I thought someone was playing with glow sticks. But on a closer look I realized there were two guys playing with glowing lightsabers!!! I could tell they were in an intense battle. I laughed out loud all the way home!
I love it!

We celebrated 8 years of being married! Yay! We survived the 7 year itch!!
I mentioned to Ty that flowers would be nice. So he sent me some! A beautiful bouquet that smells so so very nice!
The happy couple! (we've been told that we still act like newlyweds!)

Next Square
I was like, Oh..the 2nd Saturday is coming up fast! Better do my square! It was way hard! I unstitched a couple of seams but then in the end I was just like "Screw It!" and did the best I could. The sides are horribly uneven but just don't look to closely!

My Big Fall
Last week I was getting Cody out of the 'burban at Shawn's soccer game. My shoe got caught in between the floor boards and I just fell completely backwards...while holding Cody! I fell straight down on the left side of my body...but mainly my elbow and butt. Luckily I was still able to hold Cody. He was crying and got his leg a little scraped up but he was fine. I, on the other hand, had a bleeding and bruised elbow. It hurt so so bad! I couldn't straighten it at all that day. After I fell, I was in so much pain I couldn't move. I yelled for Ty. He was walking to the field to set up our chairs. He came running though and helped take Cody. I was limpng because my bum hurt way bad. But everything should heal so nobody panic!
