The Smell

I hate the smell of Chuck E. Cheese.
---
We go there often and as soon as you walk through the doors, it hits you.
I can't describe what exactly it is.
It's a mix of smelly sweaty kids, overcooked stale warm pizza, and grimy tokens.
Or maybe it's just the teenagers that work there.
I don't know.
---
All I know is that I don't like it.

Ty...

Dear Ty,
Our anniversary is coming up soon. What are we doing? ARE we doing anything to celebrate nine years of wedded bliss? I know you're not much for celebrating things but I AM! So hurry and make reservations some where. Some where nice, none of this Lorena's crap.
Love, Me

First Day of School

Everyone has a shot of them fake walking to school. This is ours.

Nick and Cody wanted to go to school too.

Shawn is in third grade and Kyle's in first.
Kyle is loving it and doing awesome.
Shawn has an attitude problem about school.

We're Bad Luck

We brought bad luck to people on this particular Saturday a few weeks back.
First, we were on our way to go boating up at East Canyon. The freeway through the canyon was so backed up. It took us about 45 mins to go 2 miles. Come to find out, a semi had crashed into the barrier and turned over. It was cool to pass it and see it but it cut into our boating time!

Second, on our way home from boating, we passed a car on fire. It must have just happened because the fire truck was just barely getting there when we passed.

And third, that night we went to the Davis County Rodeo. One of the riders of the bucking broncos fell head first into the cement wall. An ambulance came into the arena and got him out. They life flighted him to the hospital, possibly with a broken neck. But it turned out he was fine and got released later that night.

So, seriously. Three bad things happened that one day.
We were bad luck!

I'm Guilty

Yes, I am guilty of eating only the inside rolls.
Sorry.
Have you had these rolls? They're King's Hawaiian rolls.
Sooooo Delicious!
