June Square

Here is Junes quilt square. I have done horribly on the last few and I really wanted to do better this month. So I took my time and made sure everything was good. I only had to unstitch once!! I think I did well. It was such a pain in the butt though! There were so many little triangles you had to sew together. It tool me 2 hours! Next month is the last one. It was a fun little project to do.

I am upset right now because Ty ate all of it yesturday.

I LOVED that for a few YEARS!!! I have plenty in my food storage.

Confessions of a Bad Mom part 2...

I sometimes don't listen when my kids speak to me. I go, "Uh huh. Yeah, Really?" And then they say something like, "Thanks, Mom!" and run off then I'm like, "Oh wait...what?"

Like what did I agree to??

I let my kids play video games all day long. It keeps them happy and entertained. Hey, some are educational...so it's not all bad.

When it rains, it Pours!

I was finally able to get out of bed Saturday. That night, Shawn throws up. Monday night, Ty throws up. Weds night (last night) I throw up. And then Shawn throws up, again. Why is it always like this? One after another or even all at once are always sick! So I'm back in bed. I walked out, hunched over, to grab some water in the kitchen and I thought to myself "Oh great, I'm going to have to clean this place up all over again." I had just barely gotten the place semi cleaned from my weeks absence. So I have that to look forward too.

Nick is Nick

I was sitting in my scrapbook room and Nick comes up to me. He hands this toy that flings a disk out. I start to put the disk in for him and ask, "Are you going to shoot anyone?" He looks at me with a BIG smile and says, "Kyle!". We both start laughing. Then I say, "No, don't shoot Kyle." He looks at me again with a BIG smile and goes, "Shawn?!". We both laugh again. Oh this boy is crazy. I say, "No, don't shoot anyone. Just go shoot the couch." And he says while he walks away, with a little chuckle in his voice, "No...Kyle!"

Blah...

That is how I feel...Blah. I have been really sick since Sunday. It started with a sore throat and now it's all coughing up gross green crud and head aches. I have had hardly any energy and hardly a voice. My darling husband (whom I love so very much) is taking good care of the boys for me while I get better. I just can't believe that I am still in bed. I thought I'd be back on my feet by now.

Our basement is almost finished. yay. We are getting carpet today and we just have to finish the sinks and showers and it's done! We are so excited to get the house back in order after having to cram everything upstairs or in the garage.

Tuesday was Cody's 2nd bday. I was sick so we didn't celebrate it. I felt so bad. But I guess he doesn't really know. We celebrated it last night. I summoned up all the energy I had and made Elmo cupcakes. He opened a few gifts and we sang to him. He's so cute. He was so excited about the basketball we got for him.

Yesturday was me and Ty's 11th anniversary. Not of being married but of "officially" being together. I'm lame that I remember the exact day we bacame boyfriend and girlfriend. Oh well, I'm use to being lame.
