Shawn's Spotlight

About a month ago, Shawn had a spotlight at school. We made a poster together for him to present. After he showed everyone the poster, his classmates asked questions. He first picked a girl who was eagerly raising her hand. She asked, "Do you still LOVE me?!" Shawn shyly looks down and says, "yes!" It was cute. Other questions included: do I have a silly laugh? besides all the girls in the class, who is your best friend? what do you want to be when you grow up? He answered that one with,"Oh, I just want to work. Yeah, work with my dad." Who is you fav. person in your family? -my dad. It was a fun experience to see him interact with other kids in a way I have never seen! He's already a ladies man too! Ah! But he still kissed me goodbye in front of everyone. How sweet!

Little Toe

This outfit has been through all 4 boys. It has held up really well except.....this toe! In all the clothes that have feet (like pj's especially) the big toe of the right foot is always worn through. It's so funny and cute. And yes, I still dress them in those clothes. I'm not about to go out and spend $$ on new baby clothes that he'll just out grow and then never use them again.

Automatic Floor Cleaner

Yay, I spilled my drink on the floor.... but I'm still thirsty...what shall I do??? I will lick and slurp it up off the floor...

Our Froggy

Open House

Ty and I went to the new Draper Temples open house last night. It was great to be able to go. I looked through all the dates at the available times and they were all during work hours except for the 4th. There were 10 tickets left for the 8:40pm time slot. So we were real lucky! We parked at our designated church and watched a video. Then we loaded up on a nice bus and drove to the temple. We got out and walked through tents and right into the temple. It ws so pretty on the inside! It was so peaceful even thought there were tons and tons of people there. The chandelier in the Celestial room was breath taking. At the very end, we went into a sealing room and sat down. Then a couple talked about the importance of sealing and shared their thoughts about eternal families. It was the highlight of the tour. I came to tears many times but held them back for fear of ruining my mascara. After they were done, everyone took turns looking into the mirrors with their loved ones. That was real neat. We exited the temple and went through some more tents and ended up in a church. There they had cookies and cute little water bottles and displays of different temples from around the world. It was awesome! Then we boarded on our bus and it took us bck to the church where we started from! It was really neat how coordinated it all was. It was really different from the Bountiful temple open house that I volunteered at. So I would encourage anyone to go. It goes through the middle of March and you can get tickets at lds.org. And guess what...they're FREE!!!! You can't beat that with a stick!

Cuddling with his Duckie.Whenever I cut his nails, he always seems to scratch himself right after. I even make sure there are no jagged parts on his nails. He woke up from his nap with a big bleeding scratch on his perfect skin...
But he, of course, was still smiling!

Deja Vu....another Jazz Game!

Ty took me to another Jazz game last Friday. It's an addiction now! We played the Oklahomah City Thunder. They are the worse team in the NBA but somehow the last time we played them a couple weeks ago, we lost by like 20! So it was time to redeem ourselves.This time we were on the 3 rd row, right behind the hoop. AWESOME!!! We got on the Jumbo-Tron too! AWESOME!!!
This is for all the Korver fans out there. Look at his butt.... and his white chicken legs!!!

Yay for Matt! We like to think that he saw us and appreciated our jerseys. I mean, how often are 2 people wearing Harpring jerseys on one night?!

Matt was the "Sub of the Game." When they announced it I stood up and cheered really loud and jumped up and down. Everyone in our section laughed. It was great. I thought Ty would join me but he said he didn't want to be seen with me at that moment.

Our seats! And we got clappers too!!!! When the opposing team missed a free throw, it was all because of me and Ty!

There's Kyle again. Did you know that he is 2 days younger then me?! And he's about a foot and a half taller then me?!

We ended up beating the Thunder by like 30 points. It was so fun to see all the action up close! Next time we're taking a sign to hold up!

Our new tradition! We again went to the News! Before the broadcast started, the anchors waved at us and Shauna even took a pic with me! How nice!

This time we were armed with our clappers and a crossing flag. It was hilarious!

We went to DQ again. And guess what? They are remodeling all the interior. So they ripped out all the seats and tables. I was so so happy that we got a picture of our booth and of Ty's signature in the table.

Oh, and to top off the evening, about an hour after we got home, I threw up. Yeah, the sickness continues in our house!
