Cruise#4: Isla Roatan, Hondouros

Welcome to the enchanted Isla Roatan, Hondoras!
Roatan for short.
It is a small tropical island about 30 miles off the Honduras mainland.
It was a beautiful, warm, cloudy day.
There were some shops right off the ship which we walked through.
Honduras is known for it's beautiful mahogany wood and carvings. We got Ty's parents a pretty mahogany box as a thank you for watching our kids. Our tour guide was a cool kid. He was 20 years old and had never been to the mainland! Crazy! He was wearing a sweater because it was   only 78*. That is "like freezing" for the locals! We would definatly love to go back to Roatan!

This guy is awesome! I saw him around the ship and he wore his pants just as high.

We took an excursion through Carnival (which I would not recommend!). We got on a bus and drove for about 30 mins. to get to the place where we ziplined again. This place had a lot more ziplines and was faster and funner then the Belize one. After the zipline, which ended right on a beach, we walked through their nature preserve called Zumbalimba Park. It was gorgeous! It is the most beautiful place I've been. Even better then England and Paris! There were so many interesting trees and plants. Our guide showed us around and told us about stuff.

There was a hummingbird feeding area where there were about 10 hummingbirds!
Pretty little stream.

We went into a "cave" where our tour guide told us a little about the history of the island. Really interesting.
But Ty was more interested in looking at the pictures!
There was this guy who everyone made fun of because he lost his foot and a hand. So he became a pirate and stole from those people and stuff.
Jungle bridge like on Indiana Jones!

I LOVE MONKEYS!!!

So stinkin' cute!!!

Pretty tree.
My favorite plant: The Ti plant!!! ha ha! No but really, I saw this plant around the whole park and it was so pretty. It had bright pink flowers. It was my fav. Only before we left did we find out that it's name is Ti! Coincidence? ....I think NOT!
Iguana. The locals go on iguana hunts every May. They say it tastes just like an iguana!

This tree is "married". It's 2 trees that grew into each other as 1.
Monkey Boy!

This guy is sitting on a sign that says "Please Do Not Sit or Stand"!
