First Day

Nick and Cody are going to the same preschool but in different classes. This means that I actually get time to myself 3 times a week. I have not been by myself like this for 9 years! Yahoo!

Cody was so excited. After I picked him up he said, "I miss mommy at preschool. But I not cry!"      

Nick is doing awesome this year. He loves to go!

The beginning of a new school year reminds me how big and grown up my boys are getting.

Shawn is in 4th grade. His teacher is AWESOME!!!! Hopefully he will make up for the crappy teachers he's had for the past 2 years!

Kyle is in 2nd grade. He is doing great and is so smart!

Shoe Problem

My laundry room is also our mudroom. As soon as you walk through the door you have the washer and dryer right there. So I have had the problem for the past 5 years of everyone leaving their shoes right in front of the  washer and dryer making it hard to do laundry and it was a mess. I have been wanting to do something.

Well, I went to Target and saw these locker shelves. I got 5 of them and hoped they would fit betweent the wall and washer. Well, they do!!! So now everyone has their own shoe shelf to put their shoes on!

I'm pretty proud of myself!

McCall Trip #2

We took Jess up on our 2nd trip. We found a new place to catch frogs. We had to cross a stream to get to it but it was fun and pretty.

Jess was scared at first but got in the water and caught some!

We drove more up the canyon and found a gorgeous waterfall.

Ty and Jess climbed down to it.

In the middle of the mountains there was a pasture of cows. Kind of weird! They were funny. We stopped by them and they would just stare at us. Ty mooed at them and the one closest to us ran away!! Silly cow!

Water fight at the lake!!

On our way home from McCall we stopped off to see alligators!!! We had to travel into the boony land to see it but ot was cool.

It was huge and it hissed at us several times. Really freaky!

Dinosaur Park

At the beginning of the Summer we went to the Ogden Dinosaur Park. It was awesome!

That's a lot of Pasta!

I am a couponer. I love it. There was a deal at Smith's where I ended up getting a lot of pasta for FREE!

So we went to the store and special ordered tons in since we could get it for free. Well, we took what we needed and gave the rest to the Bountiful Food Pantry...all 1200 pounds!!!!

It is awesome to be able to use my couponing talents to help the community. While we were there, there was a huge line to go in and get food. It was cool to see the actual people you are helping. I love helping out charities and people whenever I can

McCall Trip #1

We were fortunate enough to be able to go to McCall twice this Summer. Ty's parents recently bought a nice condo that is in the same building as Ty's grandpa's.

It's not officially Summer until there is a jump in the lake! Shawn was the first to go...

Kyle followed after.

We went up to frog pond and were real surprised that there was a ton of snow still up there! We were in shorts and flip flops and had to walk through about a foot of snow!!!

It was worth it though!

At the public beach downtown they were having Cardboard Boat races. It was hilarious! The rule was you could only use cardboard and duct tape! You had to have 2 people rowing in boat and the first to reach the other dock won. Most of them did not make it!

We bought our friends, the Patterson's up with us. I think they enjoyed it. How could you not!

Yanked Teeth

You can barely see his second row of teeth on the bottom in the middle.

Kyle's bottom permanent teeth were growing in and his baby teeth were not loose at all. He had "shark teeth"! So we went to the dentist and he pulled his bottom 2 middle teeth. I needed to capture his perfect, cute smile before it got ruined by the dentist!
